Grootfontein hails hometown boy Hage

Grootfontein residents, where president-elect Hage Geingob was born, and residents from Tsumeb, where he taught at a local school, say they are expecting great things from him.
Geingob was born in the Grootfontein District in Otjozondjupa Region and went to primary school in Otavi.
In later years he was a full-time teacher at a local primary school in Tsumeb. Shortly after Namibia gained its independence, the Tsumeb Municipality awarded him “honorary citizenship”.
