Residents of Ohaingu village in the Ohangwena Region are mystified by an unidentified predator killing goats at the village at night, only to eat the heads.
“Reports of mysterious predators have been doing the rounds for some days, but I only saw the evidence with my own eyes on Monday,” said the head of the Ohaingu district, senior headman Urias Nghidinihamba Ndilula.
He said the unknown animal kills goats that are not in their kraals at night and eats the heads but leaves the rest of the carcass untouched.
