Swapo Secretary-General Nangolo Mbumba says peace-loving Namibians must continue celebrating the lives of heroes and heroines of the liberation struggle whether they are still alive or dead.
Speaking at the unveiling of a tombstone of a freedom fighter, Naftali Emmanuel Amadhila, who was killed at Omapopo by the South African army, Mbumba said people who went into exile are not the only heroes and heroines.
According to Mbumba, some of the people who stayed behind during the liberation struggle did more for the country than those who were abroad.
