Private doctors’ study ‘proves’ medical aid tariffs harmful

In the current Namibian environment, general practitioners are better off in the employ of government than trying to sustain their own private practices.
This is according to the results of a three-year study carried out by a group of aggrieved private doctors on the costs of setting up and maintaining a viable medical practice in the country.
