A 69-year-old Katutura woman, who is battling cancer, is taking care of her 17 grandchildren, and says she often does not know where their next meal will come from.
Marie Snyders says their only source of income is her N$600 monthly pension, although they do receive food and clothing from the Family Hope Centre.
She sadly admits that she sometimes wakes up not knowing where their next meal is going to come from, but trusts that God is going to provide for them.
“We live off others who take pity on us and give us food,” she said.
