The MTC Namibia Premier League (NPL) may just be seven matches into the new season, but already the decision to increase the teams from 12 to 16 seems to have had an adverse effect on the local game.

Sparse crowds have been seen at the matches played in the capital over the weekend, which seems to be a growing trend this season.
