A highly-emotional affair on a cold and cloudy Durban afternoon saw South Africa beating Sudan 2-1 to qualify for the 2015 African Cup of Nations (AFCON), which will now take place in Equatorial Guinea.
The match had began with a minute's silence in honour of former captain and goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa, who was shot dead in Vosloorus on October 26.
Bafana Bafana’s win came courtesy of goals from Thulani Serero and Tokelo Rantie in Durban on Saturday.
