The Eluwa Special School in Ongwediva on Friday received a donation of equipment worth N$93 000.
The Stadt Lommel Town Council donated five Perkins Braille machines with Braille paper, while the Ongwediva Town Council donated a computer to the special school.
Founded in 1966, Eluwa Special School currently has 349 learners from the Oshana, Ohangwena, Oshikoto, Omusati, Kunene and Kavango regions, of whom 245 are hearing impaired while 104 are visually impaired.
