More than three months after the ground-breaking ceremony was supposed to take place, construction of the planned food bank in Windhoek has yet to start.
The permanent secretary of the Ministry of Poverty Eradication and Social Welfare, I-Ben Nashandi, insists that there has been progress although there is no word on when construction will begin.
In June last year the Minister of Poverty Eradication, Zephania Kameeta, boasted that his ministry was so on the ball that he even promised the nation a ground-breaking ceremony for September 2015.
