The ICC deceived African leaders into believing that they would arraign all world leaders when it was established.
However, they later discovered that the international court was in fact created to target and prosecute African leaders only.
These were the sentiments of former president of Burundi Pierre Buyoya when he spoke to Namibian Sun in an exclusive interview yesterday.
Buyoya is one of the speakers at the African Union sixth Annual Retreat of Special Envoys and Mediators on the Promotion of Peace Security and Stability, currently under way in Windhoek.
