NamPower hunts for new MD

Power utility NamPower is accelerating its search for a new managing director.
The company last week requested consultancies to express interest in recruiting candidates for this position.
This follows recent high-profile suspensions at the parastatal which did not spare current MD Paulinus Shilamba.
However, there are those within NamPower who believe the search for a new MD was not triggered by Shilamba’s suspension, as the utility is said to have started recruiting before his suspension.
