The experimentation of planting Chinese mahangu in Namibia will be among the projects that a group of Chinese experts are planning to implement to boost agricultural production in the country.
A group of 15 Chinese experts arrived in the country this past Sunday, forming part of an agricultural co-operation agreement that was signed last year between Namibia, China and the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO).
The US$1.5 million agreement will run for two years and was developed within the context of the FAO-China South-South Co-operation Strategic Partnership.
