Private school fees shock

While some private schools are setting high standards academically, justifying their high school fees, some are finding themselves at the bottom of the barrel in terms of last year’s Grade 10 and 12 results.
Several parents Namibian Sun spoke to who send their children to private schools wanted to know why there is no correlation between paying high fees and the performance of their children.
One parent said that although private schools are better equipped with materials and textbooks than most government schools, State schools were often doing better.
