A group of OvaMbanderu youth have met in Gobabis to discuss ways of reuniting their community following a succession dispute.
The meeting followed the inauguration of Chief Kilus Nguvauva III as the traditional leader of that community last year.
Kilus had to face a nasty stand-off with his stepmother, Aletha Nguvauva, and her son, the late Keharanjo Nguvauva.
In his opening remarks at the Gobabis meeting, the chairperson of the OvaMbanderu Youth League (OYL), Cecil Nguvauva, reiterated Kilus’s appeal for unity in the community.
