Lack of voter education strikes in Walvis Bay

Voting at most polling stations in Walvis Bay proceeded at a slow pace this past Friday, due to technical and administrative issues.
Problems related to scanners used to verify voting cards also caused delays at the Long Beach and Walvis Bay Social Club polling stations.
There was also a lack of knowledge of how to use electronic voting machine (EVMs).
Many voters approached polling officers to ask how to use the machines.
