The marginalised and voiceless people in Omaheke Region will soon become vocal when a community radio station goes on air in the regional capital Gobabis.
This was announced by the station manager of the envisaged Omaheke Radio (OR), Levi Katire, who said plans to launch the station are in the final stages.
“We are in fact going to apply for a broadcasting licence from the Communications Regulatory Authority of Namibia next week,” Katire said.
