The latest National Housing Enterprise (NHE) report on government’s mass housing project has revealed that even poor citizens will be able to afford a home, with monthly repayments ranging between N$610 and N$4 310. In the report - seen by Namibian Sun – low-income earners will be able to afford a 32 square metre subsidised house, while the project’s largest non-subsidised home is 68 square metres in size, and will cost middle-income earners a monthly repayment of N$4 310.
