Although the number of Chinese tourists visiting Namibia has grown, the Asian tourist market remains relatively new and still largely untapped, which the Land of the Brave hopes to intensively grow.
Namibia Tourism Board (NTB) spokesperson, Maggy Mbako told Namibian Sun that tourist arrivals from China have increased from 3 000 in 2008 to about 5 900 in 2012.
While official figures for 2013 have not been released yet, Mbako is positive the number had grown again.
