As part of control measures by the Ministry of Health and Social Services to make sure Ebola does not reach Namibia, the ministry is acquiring thermal detectors which will be assembled at four entry points into the country.
The detectors will be set up at Hosea Kutako International Airport, Walvis Bay Airport and Sea Port and the Oshikango border post to identify people who have a fever.
Health Minister Richard Kamwi announced this on Friday while updating the nation on the government’s progress with Ebola control measures.
