South Africa’s Science and Technology Minister Naledi Pandor and a delegation of senior officials from South Africa, yesterday met with the Namibian Parliamentary Committee on Science and Technology to discuss how to grow support for Namibia’s bid to host the Cherenkov Telescope Array (CTA).
Namibia hopes to host the southern hemisphere CTA near Aus on a privately owned farm known as the Aar site.
The site is situated more than 1600 metres above sea level.
