Namibian road cyclist Dan Craven put in an impressive performance at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland, on Sunday to end
ninth.
A group of 140 cyclists started the 168.2km race in the rainy city of Glasgow, and only 12 cyclists finished the race with the rest crashing out due to slippery roads or because of technical problems with their bicycles.
Geraint Thomas of Wales won the gold medal, with New Zealand’s Jack Bauer taking the silver and Scott Thwaites of England getting the bronze.
