A 35-year-old South African man has appeared in the Windhoek Magistrate’s Court in connection with the murder and rape of a 58-year-old Windhoek West woman.
The lifeless body of Dina Diedericks was found this past Saturday evening in the backyard of her
home.
It is alleged that Wilhelm Wimpie Derick Februarie had sexual intercourse under coercive circumstances with the victim and then strangled her.
He was arrested on Sunday and appeared in court on Tuesday afternoon.
