Paralympic athletes get Victory Race chance

The first leg of the Old Mutual Victory Races kicked off in Oshakati last weekend with enthusiastic athletes from all over the country arriving to compete in the much-anticipated northern leg of this much-loved race series.
In the end it was the pair of Lavinia Haitope and Uuveni-Nawa Kuungongelwa, who had won the Dr Sam Nujoma Half Marathon a week earlier, again claiming top honours as they took first place in the senior women’s and men’s categories respectively.
